We got to see our Wonder Woman in full costume, we got to see a description of this teaser, we got to see random blurry screen grabs of the teaser but now we get to see the whole trailer in action for ourselves.
Check out the clip below to see the much touted teaser clip featuring a Dark Knight Returns-esque armored Batman and a very pissed off Superman in full IMAX 3-D quality:
If you can’t really make out what’s going on in the video clip, Unleash The Fanboy has sent this video for analysis at our state-of-the-art Comic-Con video leak “Leak-o-Matic” which has the capability of making out “just what the hell is going on” in any blurry Comic-Con video!
Zack Snyder is hosting the panel, speaking to an extremely enthusiastic crowd who have surely camped out at Hall H for at least two days just to be able to get on-the-spot coverage of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The aforementioned clip starts playing and the entire room has a fan-gasm.
Batman, dressed in an armored suit much like the one from Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns pulls a tarp off the Bat-signal when we see a very pissed off looking Superman just creepily floating in the center on the light. Superman’s eyes start glowing red and the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel just glare at each other with an animosity we have come to expect in this post-New 52 world we live in.
Then Zack Snyder, comes out again to the cheers and wails of fans, no doubt thinking to himself “F*ck yeah, told them they should have trusted me!” After that, the director introduced the DC Trinity, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, who posed for a selfie, then walked off stage.
Still no word on the role of Amy Adams’s Lois Lane in Batman v Superman but this intrepid reporter knows that news about the First Lady of DC Comics will come out of Hall H soon.
As usual keep it on Unleash The Fanboy for all your San Diego Comic-Con needs and stay tuned as this story develops and as we will no doubt make another post about Lex Luthor’s hair or something.
