IRON MAN’s Secret Cameo in BLACK WIDOW Spoiled…

Black Widow is coming back to life post-Snap, that means she’ll be in new movies that take place after Avengers: Endgame….at least that what this  new Marvel rumor/theory claims.

Alright, let’s hop into this latest rumor.  According to a particular report circling the web, Scarlet Johnasson’s Black Widow flick will have a huge surprise twist in it.  I mentioned it earlier, but I’ll say it again: apparently Black Widow is going to come back to life.

According to this report, Avengers: Endgame originally held an extra scene when Tony Stark performed the Snap Back, wiping out Thanos’s troops.  Well, if you’ve been following geeky news for a while, then you know that the film originally featured a scene where Tony Stark traveled to the Soul Stone and met his daughter, Morgan, all grown up.

Contrary to that verified deleted scene, this new reports there was an additional Soul Stone scene.  In that one, Tony Stark meets Black Widow and decides to trade his soul for hers. After all, Red Skull did tell us a “Soul for a Soul” were the terms of possessing that particular stone.  So Tony Stark trading his life for Scarlet Johansson’s Black Widow is totally allowable within the laws of the Marvel Universe… but it just seems so hackneyed.

If Marvel starts to undo deaths, which Avengers: Endgame director’s Joe and Anthony Russo have already claimed should be permanent, then it cheapens every story arc in the MCU.  If everyone can be brought back from the dead, then there are no real stakes, and we shouldn’t really care about the risks the characters are taking. After all, there’s nothing really heroic about sacrifice if you get take-backs.

All-in-all, I’m putting this particular rumor in the “I don’t really believe it” corner, along with the claim that Galactus will be a Celestial, and Venom is going to be in the next Avengers flick.
