Marvel Denies DOCTOR STRANGE Rumour

A mysterious Twitter account called @RogerWardell has been leaking supposed Marvel scoops since May, and one that spread around the internet like wildfire was that Viggo Mortensen was in discussions with the studio for an undisclosed role, and that Doctor Strange would show up in Thor: The Dark World. We managed to connect the dots and thought that Mortensen would be playing the good Doctor in the sequel, but in an extended part of Victoria Alonso’s conversation with Omelete (she revealed earlier the Ant-Man test reel might be released online) she denies any involvement Marvel has with the actor.

“We would love to work with Viggo Mortensen. I’ve been trying that for years. But I don’t know if Viggo is even acting anymore. I thought he wasn’t acting anymore. It would be great to work with him in the future, but we don’t have him signed, no.”

Well that answers that then. If these rumours really aren’t true, then I’m rendering the rest of his tweets as complete bull. What say you? Sound off below.
