Marvel Will Probably Release The ANT-MAN Test Reel Online

Ever since Edgar Wright showed off some awesome test footage for Ant-Man at Comic-Con earlier this year, fans who couldn’t attend (like most of us) have been pleading to Wright and Marvel for them to release the reel online. There was a short description, which described it as Ant-Man beating up people. Brazillian movie site Omelete spoke to Marvel exec producer Victoria Alonso, who revealed to them that if the fans want the footage to be released online, that’s what they’ll do. Read her comments below, and bare in mind that this was translated via Google Translate.

“Edgar is on board the project. He will make another film before [The World’s End], a project he had undertaken to do. But he wrote a great script. And hopefully it will soon work with us.”

“What we showed at Comic-Con was a video still unfinished and we are working to finalize it. And I think you should see it, but do not know where yet. We always hear what the fans are saying and doing everything to answer what they ask.’m not sure we’ll publish it online, but I have no reason to imagine that is not a good way. If that’s what the fans want.”

This is fantastic news, as I REALLY want to watch this footage. Fellow fanboys, let’s kick up a fuss that will make Turtlegate look like a bitching contest! Do you want to watch the footage? Sound off below.
