Could the Ant-Man movie arrive in 2014?

Yes guys, you read that right.  I know today we got some news regarding a Big Hero 6 movie (see the article here) and the Guardians of the Galaxy movie (for more info click here) but now news has come from the Hollywood Reporter saying that Edgar Wright has discretely wrapped-up production on some Ant-Man test footage.

Ant-Man‘s movie had been around for a while but there really hasn’t been any news to report on.  All we knew of the project is that it was still alive, still in production and that Edgar Wright was still attached. There had no been no casting news, no signs of potential pre-production or anything beyond minor script updates, until today.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, regarding Edgar Wright:

…in mid-June, he spent just under a week shooting footage for a reel that will be used to test out the potential look and tone of his movie, as well as to decide how convincing Ant-man’s powers look onscreen.
