New ROCK SIMULATOR Really Rocks

Ah Steam, you never fail to amuse me. With your summer sales you cripple my bank account every year, but now you’re easing the pain with a new simulator. Forget Goat Simulator, Rock Simulator is the latest in PC gaming’s simulator craze, and as you can guess from the title, it’s a fun rock simulating experience. The game is currently in Steam Greenlight, so it’s in a pretty early stage right now, but expect it to release sometime this year.

This simulator is a rock enthusiasts dream. You can watch beautiful rocks in any location in the world. From grass plains to salt flats, there are dozens of hand designed BEAUTIFUL environments.

The most recent development update includes a request for aid from a 3D modeler, so it’s definitely in a concept stage right now. But the ridiculous concept is making a name for itself, with a ranking of  #9 on the Greenlight rankings.

With this knowledge we sent our most dedicated rock enthusiast, Bader Noaimi, to the HQ of Strange Panther Games, so they could try and eavesdrop and gather some information about the game’s production status. Bader was disguised as a rock, hoping to blend in as a prototype model for the game. Bader approached, stealthily, an office cubicle where two young interns were slacking off. Hoping to hear a good scoop, Bader moved closer, only to be picked up by one of the interns and thrown across the room. One of the young interns mentioned something about his lost football, but that “this will do, I guess”.
