Lex Luthor, Bane, Aquaman, Sinestro, Shazam, and Doomsday confirmed for Injustice: Gods Among Us

The upcoming DC fighting video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, is getting quite the impressive roster.  And this week, a few more characters have been confirmed to join the mix! DC fans should be excited!

The confirmed characters are:

• Lex Luthor
• Bane
• Aquaman
• Sinestro
• Shazam
• Doomsday

Pretty cool, right? From these characters, Doomsday is, IMO, easily the coolest. I would love to play as him. I hope his design does him justice. The rest all seem like they would make for pretty fun times too, except for Aquaman. Truth be told, I’m not sure what they’ll be able to do with him. And now that I think about it, doesn’t having Doomsday on the roster make Bane kind’ve pointless?

Meanwhile, the plot will apparently  be like a “Superhero movie”, which is a good sign. Metropolis gets blown up, Superman attempts to kill The Joker, and Aquaman, Sinestro, Shazam, and Doomsday are shown fighting each other. Sounds pretty epic, if you ask me!

So far, other confirmed characters include: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Nightwing, Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Cyborg, Deathstroke, and Solomon Grundy.  The game will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U April 2013. The game is being developed by NetherRealm Studios (Mortal Kombat).

So…think you’ll buy this game?
