“Kneel Before ZOD” in INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US!

Injustice: Gods Among Us is still going strong and chugging along, and the fourth DLC character (after Batgirl, Lobo, and Scorpion) has finally been confirmed. And it is someone that we all guessed: General Zod! Watch some gameplay here:

The gameplay looks pretty cool, and Zod’s final attack is almost Doomsday levels of cool: he blasts his enemy TO THE MOON, and then back down to Earth. That’s gotta hurt. He even says the whole “Kneel before Zod” line/meme.

To be honest, Zod is a pretty obvious choice, with Man of Steel being released in theaters tomorrow, although Zod won’t be available for download until July. Honestly, Zod isn’t my first choice for a character, but don’t worry. Apparently, we’ll be getting at least one more DLC character.

Injustice: Gods Among Us was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U consoles on April 16. The game features over 27 playable characters. NetherRealm Studios (Mortal Kombat) handles the gameplay. DC Comics is currently publishing a well-received comic tie-in.

So…think Zod is a good choice?
