First Screenshots from the game based on AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD

Since Activision announced they were working on a first-person shooter based on AMC’s The Walking Dead, there hasn’t been much news about it. Well, we finally have some tidbits and a couple screenshots to share.

Here’s a synopsis of the game, courtesy of The Verge:

In The Walking Dead, players will control Daryl Dixon who, armed with his crossbow and aided by his brother Merle, will journey to Atlanta, battling throngs of “Walkers.” The game is said to blend first-person action with survival horror-style resource management. Players will need to consider food supplies, medical needs, and ammunition to survive their journey.

yeah, it NEEDS to be open world and more survival orientated than any other 1st person game on consoles – otherwise there is no point as we already have the utterly brilliant Walking Dead game series from Telltale

Completely agree, otherwise this will be another pointless TV tie-in game (i.e. Lost, 24, Shield, Alias, Dark Angel etc.)
