Robert Kirkman To Scare Us Again With New Comic OUTCAST

Well, you should know Robert Kirkman by now, if you don’t then you have been living under a rock for the last couple years. The man has worked on such big projects, such as, The Walking Dead and Invincible. Two comics that have been majorly successful. Looks like that success will continue on, because Kirkman’s back with a brand new series called Outcast being published by Image Comics. The series is of the horror genre and deals with Kyle Barnes, a young man who has dealt with demonic possession all his life.In a recent interview, Kirman had this to say about his new demonic project:

“I’ve seen every exorcism movie.  I feel like it’s a genre that is very open to a realistic interpretation, which is something that I think The Walking Dead does well—taking the zombie tropes and dealing with them realistically.  So that’s what I hope to do with exorcism.”

I will agree with Kirman’s statement. I have always felt that he has taken a realistic approach to his writing. Even in impossible situations, Kirkman has a way of making the characters very real. I don’t know how he will do this with possession but I can’t wait to find out.
