New Trailer Released for Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters!

Season 3 of Transformers: Prime, Beast Hunters, has been making fans wait a while. Well, after a few months of no news, IGN has released a new trailer for the upcoming season, featuring “The ultimate Autobot Hunter”, Predaking, leader of the Predacons. Viewers of Beast Wars will remember the Predacons, although their role here seems like it’ll play out different. The Autobots are surprisingly absent in this trailer, but no matter. The trailer is still epic.

Transformers Prime, which is airing on The Hub, premiered on November 2010, and remains one of The Hub’s most watched programs, and has already won various awards. Prime has already spawned a video game, and IDW has been releasing a prequel comic to season 3.

Predaking has a pretty cool design, but I fear that the writers will end up making him an expendable villain, like the Insecticons in season 2. They began as huge threats, and towards the end, a single Autobot could take a dozen down with one hit. I’ll be watching though, regardless of worries.

Beast Hunters still has no exact premiere date, but the trailer says Spring, so I would guess April or May.
