It is Finally Happening! THE SIMPSONS and FAMILY GUY are Meeting in a CROSS-OVER!?!

The Simpsons and Family Guy have quite a few things in common: both shows are animated comedies centered on a family (and their neighbors), both shows have been airing for forever, with many people feeling that both series dropped in quality years ago, both sitcoms air on FOX…and both of the show’s fanbase hates the other. So I guess this was inevitable!

Welp, the Griffins will apparently end up in the town of Springfield, home to the very-yellow Simpsons, in an upcoming episode of Family Guy. The episode, titled “The Simpsons Guy” will air next Fall on FOX.

Various voice actors from The Simpsons will reprise their roles in the special episode, including Dan Castellaneta (Homer), Julie Kavner (Marge), Nancy Cartwright (Bart), Yeardley Smith (Lisa), and Hank Azaria (Moe, Chief Wiggum, Comic Book Guy, and others).

As for the plot, I’ll try to keep it simple. Stewie and Bart try to out-do each other in pranks, Lisa tries to help Meg gain self-confidence, Marge and Lois bond, and decide to ditch the men, and Peter and Homer discuss a deep debate: which is the best beer? All in all, about what you would expect!

I can’t say that I care for any of these two, but fans (might) be excited! Will you be watching?
