Get On His Level! ANT-MAN Comic-Con Poster Revealed

San Diego Comic-Con has barely begun, and already the goodies are starting to roll in. Ahead of their big presentation at Hall H later this week, Marvel Studios has released a first look at the Ant-Man concept art poster that Con goers will be able to buy. The poster, illustrated by Andy Park, gives us our first look at the shrinking hero, as well as ghostly images of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Henry Pym. Check it out!

The poster is very similar to the concept art posters for Iron Man 3 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier that were released in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Despite all the turmoil behind-the-scenes, Ant-Man is still moving ahead as scheduled, and will begin principal photography next month. Aside from Rudd and Douglas, will also star Evangeline Lily, Corey Stoll, Michael Peña and Patrick Wilson. Peyton Reed is directing, with Adam McKay reworking parts of the script.

This suit looks damn cool. Although the helmet is a little Iron Man-y, it fits with the tech-based look. The shrinking effect is illustrated impressively, so I’m psyched to see how it will look on screen, especially if that glowing effect will be there. Also, if the poster is indicative of what’s to come, we’ll be getting plenty of ant action as well. Shrinking is a cool power (though many probably don’t agree with me), but the other great aspect of the character is controlling large swarms of the picnic ruining insects. And these aren’t just any ants, they’re flying ants! Pure comic book goodness right there.

Now if this is the Scott Lang suit, will they soon reveal what Hank Pym wore back in the day? Comic-Con patrons, keep an eye out!
