Hello & Welcome to another edition of ANIME MONDAY right here on UNLEASH THE FANBOY. I’m your humble host Marcell and we have another batch of anime ready for your eyes to feast on. Fairy Tail continues their assault on Phantom Lord in “FAIRY TAIL”, the team races to save Nanako in “PERSONA 4”, Kirito tries to climb the World Tree in “Sword Art Online”, The battle for Balbadd comes to a close in “MAGI”, & Eren meets the Levi Squad in “ATTACK ON TITAN”. Let’s get started.

Fairy Tail – “Lucy Heartfilia”

“Lucy Heartfilia” is another solid episode with plenty of action and development to keep you satisfied. Some of the FT members get some time to show off and we learn more about some of Phantom’s abilities. The magic continues next week as Fairy Tail returns to Magnolia to regroup.

Attack On Titan – “Special Ops Squad – Night Before the Counteroffensive Pt. 2”

“Special Ops Squad” is a nicely paced episode that expands on Levi, his squad, Hanji, & the Titans. Despite the overall lack of action, is still a necessary stop before we start the next arc of the story. The war to survive continues next week as the hunt for Sonny & Bean’s killer begins.

Persona 4 The Animation – “It’s just like Heaven”

While boasting some feel good moments here and there “It’s just like Heaven” still has a creepy feel that proves that the case is still not over. The music also helps set that mood and send a slight chill up your spine. The case continues next week as the group waits for Nanako to recover.

Sword Art Online – “Grand Quest”

While having some hiccups in the story “Grand Quest” is still a somewhat enjoyable episode with nice action, fluid animation, and some decent drama. The quest continues next week as Kirito once again tries to ascend the World Tree.

Magi: Labyrinth of Magic – “Smile”

“Smile” is a pretty good ending to this long arc with plenty of action, but mostly character drama. the dialogue is good, the animation is fluid, and the music hits in just the right places. The adventure continues next week on Magi.
