WONDER WOMAN Set to Film in November!

Since all of the popularity from the superhero movies, fans repeatedly asked the question of when there would be a female superhero with her own movie. It got to the point where it was said that it would never actually happen. However, it looks like that is false and a Wonder Woman movie is definitely being made.

The movie will be released in June 2017, and producer Deborah Snyder (wife of Zack Snyder) revealed that Wonder Woman is heading into production this November! She also said that they are looking into hiring more women behind the scenes, since they seem to be exceedingly underrepresented on both ends of production. Snyder said:

“We still wanted a female director and we found Patty Jenkins, who had the right vision and the same vision that we had for the character. We’re really happy that we’re going to be going into production in November, it’s been a really great process. We’ve tried to hire as many female members of the crew as possible.”

Wonder Woman will be appearing in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice next year as played by Gal Gadot, who will then spin off into her solo movie – also with Chris Pine!

Wonder Woman is reportedly a planned trilogy, with the first film apparently having the time period take place in WWI AND modern day. The two different time lines could either make or break the story with the audience. With a Captain Marvel and  Wonder Woman film actually happening, this seems to be a new era for women. I trust it will be a great movie made and I can’t help but wonder a tiny bit of what her trusty Lasso of Truth will look like, as well as if the movie will be up to the fans expectations. You can trust I’ll be in line on June 23rd, 2017.
