THOR: THE DARK WORLD To Film In Iceland?

If this news is true, then damn…….. I love Marvel. Reliable sources of an Icelandic site called Svarthofdi (via CBM) say that the Alan Taylor-directed Thor: The Dark World will film partially in Iceland, joining other blockbuster tentpoles such as Batman Begins and Prometheus to film in the country.

I have no idea of the site’s credibility or not, but it’s extremely likely the movie will film there nonetheless. Iceland is a great location for a Thor movie, especially because it would make the Asgard/other realm exteriors feel very grounded and earthy. Plus, Alan Taylor has experience filming in the country, as he has filmed some episodes of Game of Thrones over there. Anyway, what do you think of this news? Sound off below!
