“The Best STAR WARS Prequel by Default” REVENGE OF THE SITH’s Honest Trailer!

In celebration of the incoming release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the funny folks over at Honest Trailers have decided to completely shit all over the last movie, Revenge of the Sith, as they often do. One thing’s for sure: our review doesn’t necessarily match up.

Watch it below!

To be honest, I don’t disagree with anything said here. Revenge of the Sith really is awful; it just has the fortune of having the most memorable sequences out of the trilogy, with the exception of The Phantom Menace‘s pod race. The acting doesn’t get any better, the plot doesn’t make a lot of sense, and you can tell that while George Lucas had the right thematic ideas for where to go in the movie it’s all really poorly executed.

While I do love a good ‘ol Prequels bash, I have a feeling we’re soon gonna be seeing the end of all of that – and if you’re a fan then that should be a relief to hear after enduring sixteen years of it. With The Force Awakens mere days away, we’re about to head into a new era of Star Wars, one which will (hopefully) deliver year-in-year-out. From the sounds of it, they’ve scored on the first try.

‘The plot doesn’t make a lot of sense.’
Seriously? Attention spans at an all time low.
And yet you’ll praise JJ Abrams, the guy who created fucking LOST.

He didn’t create Lost – he co-created it with Damon Lindelof and directed the opener. That’s it. He didn’t have anything to do with the messiness which struck the show post-S3.
