THE AVENGERS 2 To Be Released May 1st 2015!

Mark your calendars loyal readers, as the ever-reliable Variety have confirmed that, closing off Phase II of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Avengers 2 will be released on May 1st 2015!

That means we only have a three-year wait (he said enthusiastically) until we see earth’s mightiest heroes on the big screen once again. MTV reported this last week, but back then it was just a rumour.

Joss Whedon will write and direct the movie, and also oversee the other Phase II movies from a creative standpoint, which are Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man. How excited are you? Sound off below!
