What’s confirmed is that the young hopeful is auditioning for a role that’ll be there through IX. And that there’s a long list of actors that are up for it, translation: heavy competition.

According to Heat Vision our engaged director also met with Adam Driver, Hugo Weaving and Michael Fassbender for potential spots in the sprawling saga.  Get this, one of ’em is rumored to be an Imperial commander.  Three guesses who.

Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3) was involved. His version focused on the offspring of Luke, Leia and Han Solo. Our original heroes were relegated to supporting parts but now that J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back) took over things have changed.

Whenever the topic of race is toyed around with in movies, it KILLS the whole experience for me. I want to escape reality. not be reminded of social issues and problems every second like I was reading a freakin’ CNN article. Seems there’s no escape from it anymore.

Ooooh, Obi Wan has black kids. How edgy. (Not)

    Way to ruin it.
