SKYFALL To Pass $100M on Thursday

This isn’t unexpected. The latest (and greatest) James Bond film, Skyfall cleaned up at the box office at the weekend, when it launched in most international territories – most notably Bond’s home, the UK, where it blasted its way to the second best (behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part Two) weekend opening of all time.

And the news has just come in that the 23rd Bond flick will smash past the $100M worldwide total well before it launches in the US on Thursday. And with Skyfall  releasing in the US on 9 November, the worldwide total should shoot up to upwards of $600M – essentially, it’s almost certain to become the highest grossing Bond film of all time.
