RUMOUR: Will Christian Bale Return As Batman In JUSTICE LEAGUE?

Take this with a grain of salt, considering we recently learned that Warner Bros scrapped the Will Beall script that was being used for Justice League, but Latino Review are reporting that Christian Bale is wanted to return to the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in the movie. Additionally, Zack Snyder is mentioned as a potential director (after the success of Man of Steel at test screenings) and Christopher Nolan is apparently the ‘Godfather’ of the DC Cinematic Universe, which probably will end up happening.

So let’s pretend like this is news is actually surprising for a moment (did anyone NOT expect the WB to court both Nolan and Bale for the Justice League? Until they’re both officially signed on, it’s common sense to assume that the studio will want their 2 biggest draws to return)

But back to the main point… if this is true, there are a few complications:

1. The public believes Bruce Wayne is dead.
2. The Nolan Batman universe is said to have no connections to other DC movies.
3. John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is now Batman.

If that didn’t get you excited, Bale has previously said he would return if Nolan was involved, and a movie based on World’s Finest is apparently “still on the cards”. Nobody really knows who’ll be scripting the movie now, however it’s incredibly likely that it will end up being either Jonah Nolan or David Goyer, or both.

First off, thank you for taking a stand against LR. Too many sites think they are the superhero movie scoop Gods when they post more false info than correct info.

Second, yes to Nolan as DC’s Whedon and overseeing their superhero movies but Nolan has also said that he wants to go back to more original movie stories and IPs.

Third, a World’s Finest movie would be a much better way to get to a Justice League movie. Man of Steel first, then World’s Finest with Bats and Supes, THEN a JL movies.

Finally, WB should pursue JGL in a Nightwing movie, which can play off of The Dark Knight Rises’ ending but instead of Blake being the next Batman, he decides to create Nightwing instead.

Christian Bale is perfect for the role of Batman and i don’t think any other actor will be able to play the character of batman as he did.

They don’t need a Justice League movie to fight Avengers, they just need to make a superman/batman movie! World’s Finest is a need… 😀
