RoboCop Iconic Shot

New Profile Photo

I can already feel the collective “oh God” reaction from my fellow fanboys and fangirls, trust me, I was skeptical about this project too.  Especially considering how reboots of 80s classics have gone (looking at you Conan the Barbarian and Total Recall).

Let me say that everything I had seen thus far had been nothing short of disappointing, from the new suit to the rest of the candid set photos I could feel the terribleness permeating from the flick.  It all just left me feeling like this movie would inevitably be an awkward combination of new-age technology and oldschool gimmicks.  That may be, but trust me somehow it works.

Prepare to be wowed.

No, I’m not joking.

Stop groaning and watch the TRAILER!

Alright, now that you’re done jumping for joy tell us what you think!  Are they doing justice to the classic material or defiling it?  Do you share my excitement or do you think I’m crazy?  Sound off with your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below!

I’m with you. Really pumped about this. The original is my favourite movie ever but this – a modern reinterpretation of the story really has my attention! Bring on February 2014!
