The Next INDIANA JONES Could Be BRADLEY COOPER

Reboots? Why does it always have to be reboots?

More specifically, a reboot/sequel to everyone’s favorite/only whip-cracking adventurer. It seems like the possibility of a fifth Indiana Jones film is in the air at Disney and Lucasfilm. And none other than Bradley “Rocket Racoon” Cooper is apparently the top name on the list of people to portray Indy.

To be fair, there’s no specification as to what the movie will be about, whether it’s a straight up Robocop 2014 reboot of the original film, or a stand-alone adventure taking place after the third film, or pretty much anything. The middle of those three options sounds like the best, and an adaptation of 1990s video game Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis would be a cool way to get back on track after what happened to the fourth film.

We also don’t know if George Lucas is involved in any capacity. But apparently Frank Darabont of The Shawshank Redemption fame wrote a pitch! And he wrote the original script for Shia LeBeouf and the Nuked Fridge of Doom, which was apparently really good, so that’s a good sign!

As for Bradley Cooper, he seems like an interesting choice. Seeing him in films like Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle has proven that the man can act, plus his role in Guardians of the Galaxy gives him the geek cred plus Marvel and Lucasfilm are owned by Disney so…who knows? But this is all speculation as of right now.
