Men In Black 3’s Etan Cohen Tapped To Write Ghostbusters 3

A few days ago Dan Akroyd revealed that a new writer had been hired by Sony to pen Ghostbusters 3, which has been in development hell since the 80’s. Thanks to Variety, we now know who that writer is. His name is Etan Cohen, and he has previously written Men in Black 3 for the same studio (which went on to have considerably good box office and critical success) and the undeniably awesome Tropic Thunder, which also got a pretty good critical reception.

The previous writers of the third installment were the writers-producers of The Office Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, and both execs and stars stated that they were very happy with the script, but it seems that they must not have been after all. What do you think of the new writer? Sound off below!
