Mark Wahlberg Seriously Thinks TRANSFORMERS 4 Will Be The Most Challenging Of His Career

Not his weenie driven sob tale in Boogie Nights. Not the pugilistic story in The Fighter.

No, Mark Wahlberg believes that his role in Bayformers : Attack of the Never Ending Explosions ( also known as TRANSFORMERS 4 ) will be his most challenging role ever. Yeah… I can’t believe he said it either.

“I think it will be the most challenging role that I’ve played and it’s an opportunity for me to do something extremely different. It’s going to be very different from what the first ones were. I’m excited about it. When I talked to (producer) Steven Spielberg and Michael and said, ‘Don’t worry guys, this is not me taking a paycheck and running with it. This is me trying to do something different,'”

I’ve never been a mindless Bay-hater. I’ve enjoyed the past 3 flicks of robot smashing action, even though they suffer from their fair share of detriments, but I can’t believe a damn word that Wahlberg’s said about the project since he’s been announced as its star.

Honestly, the robots in disguise aren’t high art, they’re movies of pure spectacle. Comparing them to Wahlberg’s previous movies, the only challenging thing about a Transformers flick is keeping your eyes from wandering south when talking to Megan Fox (or one of her various replacements).

My boob comment was bad, and I should feel bad
