Klingons In Star Trek 2!

During the MTV Movie Awards last night, a sketch aired starring Jennifer Lawrence and Joel McHale with a cameo from J.J Abrams, and during it we got out first (sort-of) look at Star Trek II, appearing in the form of a television screen. The look is that of a previously-unseen character with his face covered by a mask (he didn’t appear in the first movie), but Trekkies and others will know that this is a masked Klingon, as they have the same masks from a deleted scene in Star Trek.

So, I guess this is confirmation that we’ll be seeing Klingons in the upcoming sequel. Unfortunately, I have no idea when the first trailer is going to hit (although I heard it was coming with Prometheus, except that seems unlikely) but we should a see a teaser within the next month or so.
