Johnny Depp is Vampirific in Dark Shadows Stills

I’ll be the first to admit, I was kinda hesitant about seeing another vampire flick this summer. Over the past few years, the whole genre has been pretty much bled to death (pun intended), but then we received some photos from the set of Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows, and I can honestly say that I’ve changed my mind. Johnny Depp looks to be in familiar form as yet another weirdo, which should make for some awesome movie magic as he gallivants around town as a 200 year old vampire.

Oh, and if you haven’t heard, Burton’s also producing this summer’s bizarre epic Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. It looks like he’ll be injecting some much needed life into the genre (haha, get it?), especially after the past few years of Twilight mania.
