As filming gears up for an April start date, the cast for the upcoming time-travelling mutant crossover X-Men: Days of Future Past gets larger. Just a few minutes ago, director Bryan Singer confirmed that Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman) and Anna Paquin (Rogue) are all returning for the movie.
Very excited to welcome #annapaquin, @ellenpage & @shawnrashmore to #XMen #DaysofFuturePast – thank you @brettratner for letting them live!

Rogue voluntarily took the ‘Mutant cure’ in X-Men: The Last Stand but as the ending shows after a short period of time the cure begins to stop working (shown with Magneto slightly moving a metal chess piece) so I expect we’ll see the events of the mutant resurgence dealt with in the movie (perhaps the reason for Sentinels and concentration camps?).
Are you happy to see Ashmore, Paquin and Page all confirmed for Days of Future Past? Most of the X-Men: First Classcast are returning, as are Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Share your thoughts below.
