Hollywood Bigwig Outs ZACK SNYDER As JUSTICE LEAGUE Director

This is one of the most hotly discussed stories in all of fandom, egged on in part by a couple hundred wild rumors, but it looks like we’ve finally found a verifiable source.

Director Zack Snyder looking all ageless and shit

According to an ACTUAL member of the Warner Brothers film making community, Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer, the man who’ll inherit the Justice League movie is none other than Zack Snyder (who’s responsible for Man of Steel).

Here’s the exact quote, which doesn’t elaborate too much on what we’ve already stated, but at least it adds a bit of authenticity to our scoop:

“We asked if he was still interested in directing ‘Justice League’ after his name was on the shortlist of directors last year. He said he’s definitely interested in directing a big superhero film but it wasn’t going to be ‘Justice League.’ And why not? Says Fleischer:

“Well that’s something that Zack Snyder is going to wind up doing.”

Perhaps Fleischer lamented this fact, since he desired that position. If that was the case, and Warner Bros. has since decided to use Snyder, I’m sure it was due to Fleischer’s poor showing at the cinemas earlier this year with Gangster Squad. “Flop” doesn’t quite do its performance justice, to speak frankly.

In any case, what do you think of Snyder as the Justice League director? The trailers for Man of Steel have done nothing but impress, but did you secretly crave Christopher Nolan? How about the very unlikely act of apostasy by Joss Whedon?
