Guess Who Was Almost Cast As GREEN GOBLIN in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

BE CAREFUL! Potential SPOILERS await…

So, if you’ve been tuning into Unleash The Fanboy for the past month, then you’ll probably remember the absolutely insane Green Goblin casting news we posted. Apparently, in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, Norman Osborn won’t be the first Oz to take the Goblin juice. No, instead his son Harry, played by Dane DeHaan, will take to flight on his fancy, spiky glider in the film’s climax. At least, that’s according to one of the interweb’s super secret sources. We actually surmised as much earlier in the Winter.

Well, DeHaan’s Chronicle co-star Michael B. Jordan was also up for the role of Harry at one point in time. Jordan perfectly portrayed the privileged yet endearing Steve Montgomery in Chronicle, which are characteristics that would easily transfer to Harry Osborn, but DeHaan totally has the “I’m vulnerable, weak, and crazy” look down to a science… which is even more important for Osborn’s actor.

But it’s not all bad news. According to recent rumors, Michael B. Jordan will play Johnny Storm in Josh Trank’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot (a better role for him, I think).
