Christopher Lloyd Would Do a BACK TO THE FUTURE 4?!

I am going to scream if this were ever to happen, in a good way of course.

Whenever there is talk of your favorite movie and the possibility of making sequels there is excitement that fills your stomach, but at the same time a little bit of dread because most of the times the sequels aren’t as good. Unless it’s the Godfather, and of course the Back to the Future films then that’s different.

As December 21st. comes in just a few short days, Fans aren’t the only ones excited for the day that Doc and Marty McFly are supposed to come to the future of the year 2015. The hollywoodreporter, interviewed Christopher Lloyd and what he thought of a Back to the Future 4 film if it were to ever happen and Lloyd jumped at the idea.

Lloyd says he’d sign on immediately if the whole gang — Robert Zemeckis, Bob Gale, Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson and Thomas F. Wilson — got back together for one more time-traveling adventure.

“It’s tough to come up with an idea that contains the excitement of the original three,” Lloyd says. “So it would be a real challenge for the writers to come up with an original Back to the Future story that has the same passion and intensity and excitement as the other three. But it could be done, you never know,” he adds with a chuckle.

Now this isn’t a reboot, but this would be a Back to the Future 4 if they were to make one. It’s hard to tackle anything like making a new one because the original trilogies were purely brilliantly written, but it’s definitely possible to make a fourth one, if they did , to make it just as good as the other films but no pressure, right?

According to Cinemablend Christopher Lloyd loves the idea of play Doc again,

“I would love to do Doc again, no question. [But] it’s tough to come up with an idea that contains the excitement of the original three. So it would be a real challenge for the writers to come up with an original Back To The Future story that has the same passion and intensity and excitement as the other three. But it could be done, you never know.”

Lloyd is also confident Fox would return as Marty one more time.

“I think regardless of the Parkinson’s, he’d probably jump on the role and he’d be great,” Lloyd says. “I can’t see doing another sequel without him. I would certainly want Bob Zemeckis directing it, Bob Gale writing it and the other principals being involved.” And, of course, there has got to be a DeLorean, he added. “It was such a perfect choice for the film. It looked so speedy and futuristic.”

So, now we know that if a Back to the Future 4 film was ever possible that Christopher Lloyd would be on board 100% of the way. What do you guys think though, should they have one last futuristic adventure that we would all love to see with none other than the original cast if their was ever talk of a Back to the Future 4 film?
