Two Action-Packed TV Spots for G.I. JOE: RETALIATION

The first trailer for G.I. Joe Retaliation really had me hyped. I’m a supporter of the 2009 movie, but this sequel looked to be an actual G.I. Joe thing instead of attempting to combine Transformers with military. Lately however I feel personally that the marketing is going the wrong way. Instead of proudly displaying Cobra Commander’s plot to take over, it has decided to showcase this as a Rock and Bruce Willis team-up movie. Anyways, check out two pretty exciting (but once again lacking the Commander) TV spots for the film below.

A follow-up to the 2009 release G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which grossed more than $300 million worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with Hasbro and di Bonaventura Pictures, presents G.I. Joe: Retaliation. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy, Cobra, they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

Retaliation comes out next month on the 29th.
