Bradley Cooper In Talks To Voice Rocket Raccoon In “GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY”

Well, here’s a shocker if I ever heard one. It has now been confirmed by The Wrap that Bradley Cooper is in talks to voice Rocket Raccoon in “Guardians of the Galaxy.” The rumor was first reported by Latino Review, but nothing had been verified until today. If he was to join he would round out the cast of intergalactic explorers consisting of Chriss Pratt, Zoe Saldana, David Bautista, and possibly Vin Diesel as the talking tree Groot. Also part of the movie will be Karen Gillan, Djimon Housou, John C. Reilly and Glenn Close.

With all the focus on who will be dong voice-over roles in the film, I will admit that Cooper is not who I would have first thought of to give life to the talking raccoon with an attitude. That being said, Cooper is very versatile as an actor, and I think that he would be an excellent choice. Just watch “Silver Linings Playbook,” you’ll see what I mean.

I don’t know much about these characters, but this movie sounds like it’s going to be one of next year’s best superhero movies, and if Cooper is a part of it, that only increases its chances of being superbly awesome.

So don’t disappoint me, Marvel!
