Mid-season Teaser for AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

There may be mixed feeling about whether or not Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. needs to exist, but this particular train from the House of Ideas keeps going!  And I have to say I find myself intrigued by what’s coming.

On January 7th we’re set to receive the answer to, perhaps, the most important reason for this burgeoning property’s existence: how is Agent Coulson alive?

The official description for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”The Magical Place”:

Coulson uncovers vital information about the mystery of his death, but, with Centipede out for blood, this knowledge may come at the cost of one of the team.

But the question remains: is that really enough to get people to watch the mid-season return of a show that’s gone from 12 to 6 million viewers?  To be fair the majority of the episodes held onto their dedicated demographic with only slight shifts in their total count, but let’s be frank this is still a freak-of-the-week endeavor that’s losing any initial ERMAHGERD interest it had when it fist began.
