The Amazing Spider-Man on the PS3, will Move you!

Well Spidey fans, some of you may have noticed that Amazon.com and Gamestop.com have eached posted finalized box art for the forthcoming Amazing Spider-Man video game, and you’re eyes do not decieve you fellow gamers.  Apparently, the PlayStation 3 version has Move Support!

Jonathan Gendron, a PR manager at Beenox had this to say:

This is the final Box Art and the PS3 version will effectively support The PlayStation Move motion controller.

There you have it folks, a simple and to the point response that confirms that the cover art is not a mistake.  And as with all Move related releases the little blue circle in the corner shows you what devices the game in question will indeed use.  In this case two Move Motion controllers and of course of the PlayStation Eye, but no Navigation controller.  So whatever your doing in the game will require both arms and movement, but no joystick to guide Spidey.

So what does that mean for everyone’s favorite webslinger?  No one knows but the people at Sony, Beenox and Activision.  Perhaps it’s something that will be revealed and shown off at E3, we’ll have to wait and see.   But nonetheless it’s certainly an interesting development.
