Roll Out For New Digital TRANSFORMERS Comic Series!

Transformers is forever. Or at least IDW Publishing hopes to keep it that way. They’ve announced a new digital Transformers comic series, Transformers: Monstrosity! The 12-chapter series will be available on the Transformers Comics and IDW Comics apps, comiXology, iBookstore, and on IDW’s website.

Transformers: Monstrosity will be a sequel to IDW’s previous digital Transformers series, Transformers:  Autocracy. Monstrosity takes place during the Cybertronian War, with Optimus Prime and Megtron, Autobot and Decepticon leaders, taking center stage!

Apparently, Megatron will be betrayed by someone (Starscream?). Meanwhile, Grimlock and his Dinobots will also be appearing. Grimlock still doesn’t seem to get along with Prime, and the Dinobots have a dark secret. Hmm.

Monstrocity is being written by Chris Metzen and Flint Dille, both of whom also wrote Autocracy, and is being drawn by Livio Ramondelli, who did the art for Autocracy.

I enjoyed Autocracy (even if the art was hard to follow), so I look forward to this. I expect a paperback version by the end of this year.
