Lady Rawhide #2 Review

Beautiful women, kick a$$ fighting, and a story to drive it all. The Wild West like drama thickens in Ladyrawhide #2.

Here is the official description from Dynamite:

“As Old Mexico is crushed beneath the weight of corruption and tyranny, Lady Rawhide – outlaw champion of the oppressed – discovers that she does not fight alone. A band of vigilantes have taken up her struggle, but their ruthless methods may place them all in the gun sights of a deadly new adversary…”

So if you haven’t read the first issue of Lady Rawhide, then you should check it out because this series is great and the second issue is even better. Lady Rawhide is seen still fighting the good fight and being the voice for the oppressed. However, things are getting more intense with the law using all their efforts to bring her down but when an injured girl explains who she, Lady Rawhide finds that she may not have to fight alone.

Eric Trautmann does an awesome job as a writer with keeping the audience engaged in this newest addition to the story. The way that he portrays this strong female character, makes you want to join her and fight off the oppression that her people are facing. He continues to make us ask “What is going to happen next?” The way he introduces the new characters is nothing short of a good plot device. I really can’t wait to see what he has in store.

Milton Estevam really helps bring the beauty and sharpness of the story to life. Trying not spoil anything, Estervam, really takes us through a visual roller-coaster, with the different characters dealing with anger, hate, greed and more, Estevam brings these emotions to life. Also, the women in this issue, because there are a lot, are just fabulous.

Overall, this addition to the story opens the doors for a lot of interesting plot points in future. I do hope that keep this up and let continue to experience the raw power of Lady Rawhide. I give it a four out of five.
