BRAIN BOY: THE MEN FROM G.E.S.T.A.L.T. #3 Review

Brain Boy has been taken and forced to experience the hell he never wanted. Read on to find out more.

It’s the end of the world . . . and Brain Boy’s at ground zero! Faraday confronts a legion of zombie bikers, while Brain Boy tries to escape a psychic cage that’s driving him insane as he’s forced to watch the apocalypse over and over again. Is the psychic cult that’s tormenting him also out to get the president?

The world has gone to hell really fast and Brain Boy has been 24799 (1)changed, well sort of, he is being tortured by a group that is making him see the world as a terrible place overrun by zombies. It is actually kind of confusing, which is why I have a problem with it, but I will save that for a bit. So we have this character dealing with that and then you have Faraday, who might be part of something, is fighting off a gang of zombies. It is very odd. Then, there is this other character who is trying to find Brain Boy, who may be killing people under the orders of someone we don’t quite know. The ending is, both, interesting and confusing but it does move the story into the future.

The writing is very good but very confusing. The part that you don’t understand is where the psychic cage begins and ends. It is so weird to figure out what is real and fake. It is just really hard to follow. Then, they try to bring it together in the end and they end up causing more questions.

The art is good because of the bi-polar nature of this story. It shows reality and the fake reality very well. It is a positive things.

Brain Boy, is a little confusing but, overall, pretty good.
