Review: Mass Effect: Foundation #5

Mass Effect 3 Banner

What do you do when your commander might be dead? Read on to find out.

“On the distant, lawless edge of the populated galaxy, Jacob Taylor and Miranda Lawson are sent to search for the body of the deceased Commander Shepard. Instead, they encounter a threat that could lead to their demise as well!”

Here it is, another, issue of the Mass Effect: Foundation series. I have to say that this issue is very story oriented, but there is plenty of action. I really enjoyed it. There seems to be a mystery upon the actual whereabouts of the body of Commander Shepard. Now I am trying not to ruin anything, but the whole point of the issue is that they are trying to find his body. However, things get complicated and there are even more devious intentions from a sort of new enemy. You will understand what I mean download (1)when you read it. All I have to say is that it is interesting and exciting. I would love to ruin it for you but my inner fan boy is saying no, so I have to listen to the force. Just go and pick this up, you will not be disappointed.

Mac Walters has been doing an awesome job of creating a story in a universe that has already been established, but he is making it his own, which isn’t always an easy thing. The one thing that is nice is that he understands the importance of developing the characters in settings that aren’t usual for them. Overall, this particular issue, he has done an awesome job and added a little mystery into the mix.

The drawing in this, seems so real and amazing. Matthew Clark knows how to weave action and storytelling through his art that does nothing but compliment. Overall, it is great.

I give this a five out of five.
