Never Ending #3 Review

Never Ending Banner

Oh no! What will happen to our hero? Read on to find out.

Official Description:

“It’s all down to this: the driven-yet-demented hero Chuck Baxter versus mortality and his own superpowers! Can evil scientist Archibald McCrae achieve his life’s goal and kill the earth’s only unkillable man? And when Chuck’s past comes to haunt him, how will he respond? Either way, this is the end.”

I promise, I won’t ruin the ending to this very awesome finale because it is something that is a must read if never ending 2 reviewyou have been keeping up with this series. However, I can explain a lot of things that are going on. First off, the villain has become even worse than before and it looks like there is no stopping him. Along with that, we have Chuck who is dealing with mortality. In this issue, I think that it really deals with the fact that superhero’s don’t know how to deal properly with death or the possibility of death and this does a lot with it. Not only is this brought into question, a couple of things from the past of Chuck’s that really does a lot of hindering towards our hero. It adds a dynamic to the issue that is hard to pass up. This is something that works out well for this issue. I mean it. There is so much going on, you have to read it a couple of times to be able to get it.

The writing in this issue is flawless. There is something for everyone. The way that the different aspects from Chuck’s past, his mortality, and the villain, that woven together in a way that seems perfect and understandable with a couple of reads. This may seem like a flaw but I don’t personally think so, I think that it’s important to make people look into the world, and want to re-read it and this issue does.

The art is spot on. The actions and different things going on, is something that could be difficult but with this artist, it is done. I think for all the issues, it has been done very well.

Overall, I give this a five out of five.

5/5
