MARVEL Teases their forthcoming POINT ONE issue

Are you guys eager for Marvel NOW! to kick-off?  Are you excited about the future prospects of this “bold” new direction for the Marvel Universe?  Well the workhorses at the House of Ideas seem positively jazzed as the latest teaser for the October‘s Point One has spread out across the internet.

Looks like we have a couple confirmations here, one Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness are the apparent creative team for a Nova or cosmic related book that will be apart of Marvel NOW! and Sam Alexander looks to be tangling with a old school villain.  If memory serves he’s taking on a character called Diamondhead who was last seen in Nova (Vol.4) #2.  It looks good and I got to admit the redesigned outfit has grown on me, but man I miss Richard Rider.

I know he’s dead or presumed dead, but Star-Lord is coming back, Black Bolt returned, Thanos I’m sure is coming, the major players who “died” during the Thanos Imperative are resurrecting, so come on Marvel, bring back Nova Prime!  In any case, I’ll admit that I’m still excited to read this and learn more about the new guy, who knows, he might actually be a good character that’s worth following.
