Judge Dredd: Mega City Two #3 Review

Light! Camera! Action!…Our favorite Judge is in over his head with Mega City Two, what will happen next? Read on to find out!

The Law on the beach! The cameras are on Dredd as he patrols the coastline of Mega-City Two, but what happens when disaster strikes at an immigration checkpoint’s Citizenship Pageant? And what about the enormous man-eating shrimp that’s terrorizing what used to be the California waterfront?

Okay, so the nice side series is still keeping up with some of the best social commentary on the comic wire and other media at this point. It seems some of things that are occurring in Mega City #2 are not just a fluke or anything but a more sinister method of showing how things are occurring. I am not sure what the writer has in store but I can tell you that it is going to be intense. There are some great moments in this issue that need to be highlighted. The mystery behind Mega City Two is getting thicker and thicker because of the way that things are shaping up. I will try not to spoil anything but there is something bigger than just a routine disaster at the immigration checkpoint. This isn’t your normal immigration, it happens to be kind of this interesting pageant. Then you have the shrimp, which add a whole new evil creature to the mixture. It is so cool and really adds a degree that you will have to read.

The writing for this series is fantastic. It is full of bad ass action but, also, some great looks on society while bringing forth an awesome storyline. I have to say it is one of my favorites at the moment.

The art is, also, has been a great asset for this series because of the attention of detail. I love it and it works for this type of comic.
