Halo: Escalation #15 Review

The Infinity has figured out that the covenant is involved and they must keep the Janus Key from getting into the wrong hands but is  this mission too much for our heroes’ to handle? Read on to find out more.

On a treacherous planet, the UNSC Infinity battles the bloodthirsty Covenant for control of the Janus Key—and the Forerunner empire’s secrets . . . The action-packed sequel to Halo 4’s Spartan Ops continues! Story by Duffy Boudreau (BlackAcre,Bloodshot), art by Sergio Ariño (Ms. Marvel)!

The nice part about this series is that there has been plenty of action and plenty of Halo fun. haloes15p1This issue is no different and continues the awesomeness. This issue continues with our hero’s trying to figure out how to stop the Covenant from getting the Janus Key. However, the Covenant are not going down without a fight. It is clear that they are also no someone to underestimate. There are a couple of fun moments in this issue but there are some scary moments. I don’t mean jump scare moments but very close scary moments that I was like “WHAT!” it was really crazy. The ending of the comic is pretty great and really has an impact on the rest of this arc. It is really crazy.

Duffy Boudreau is a fantastic writer for this series. This issue was compelling and really fun. I was excited to read every page. The nice and fantastic flow of the series has been great and this issue shows that he knows what he is talking about.

Sergio Ariño has done great stuff in the past and really brings his A game to this series. You will really like this issue and the style. It is a lot of fun and very slick looking.

Halo:Escalation #15 is a great issue and has a lot of fun moments.
