Next week sees the release of IDW’s new mini-series, Godzilla: Half Century War. The previous mini-series was the highly-acclaimed Legends and before that the popular Gangsters and Goliaths, so it’s only natural that Half Century War looks utterly fantastic. Check out the breathtaking pics below.
Since this is taking place in 1954 and the comic is using the Millennium design, die-hard fans might be disappointed that it isn’t using the original design. While I think it would have made more sense, it won’t affect the story. (Plus I’m kinda biased toward the Millennium design, my personal favorite.) Be sure to check out my review Wednesday!
Introducing a new and exciting look at Godzilla’s reign of destruction, courtesy of Orc Stain creator James Stokoe! The year is 1954 and Lieutnant Ota Murakami is on hand when Godzilla makes first landfall in Japan. Along with his pal Kentaro, Ota makes a desperate gamble to save lives… and in the process begins an obsession with the King of the Monsters that lasts fifty years!
