What happens when man and machine become one, will there be consequences or more?

Official Description:

“New from Darby Pop! Ben Fischer helped build the world’s greatest surveillance system, Golden Shield, which utilizes every camera, cell phone, and computer in San Francisco to battle crime. There is only one problem: Golden Shield can’t work without a human mind to operate it, resulting in a controversial melding of man and machine. Writer Eric Garcia (Anonymous Rex, Matchstick Men) delivers an action-packed story download (9)that questions the roles of security and technology in our modern society.”

Well, there are some things that can be beaten to death, man and machine could be one of those things. However, there is this a certain bit of charm with this series. It deals with the best and new surveillances system and the effect that it can have on the world. Now what is charming about this series, is the fact that the main character Ben, is very likeable and the growth that he goes through in just this small amount of time is fantastic and very likeable in this time. The series has the potential to be great. I believe that this is something that could be great with development.

The writing is witty and sincere. Eric Garica has a way of bringing some humor with urgency and intellect. The way that he develops the characters and the ability to make sure that it’s understandable works for this comic book and is awesome.

The artistry is fantastic. It is great and has the ability to move from each panel. There are some things that works and there are some things that work better. There is nothing that I can say but praise for this artist.

Overall, I give this a five out of five.

5/5
