Brain Boy the Men from GESTALT #2 Review

With the group of GESTALT proving to be a tougher enemy than originally thought, what will happen when Price has to fight in the skies.

Agent Price’s flight to the desert to confront a psychic doomsday-cult leader gives new meaning to the word turbulence as he fights tooth and brain for his psychic soul thirty thousand feet up in the air. Is there a shadowy agency out to ground the United States Secret Service’s best agent?

The issue opens up right where the other left off with Price being on a24798-e8951 plane trying to save the people that he is with, but there is something more wrong than he originally planned. The GESTALT organization has something on their side called “Breeder” which is a psychic that seems to be on steroids and they seem to be ruthless. Now Price does has this thing where he is trying his best to keep everything together but it is tough because he doing so much at once. This makes for an interesting plot and the ending of the issue will be something that really affect the world of Brain Boy. You will have to read it to find out.

The writing is spot on for this because of the flow. It is quick, fast, and witty while allowing for character development and adding some new twists. However, I felt like some things could have been developed just a little more but I think that they will continue to.

The artist really soars in this issue. The way that the artists depicts a physic battle in the sky while still keeping just grounded in the real world is done really nicely. I thinl that you will really enjoy the look and feel of this issue which what you should do when you see a comic.

The new issue in this new arc soars above and beyond in comic realm.
