Brain Boy: Men from Gestalt #1 Review

Brain Boy doesn’t seem to be able to ever catch a break, and this time it could be a lot worse than it has been in the past. Read on to find out more.

Agent Price’s new mission pits him against a doomsday cult leader with a political agenda that poses a direct threat to the president. But a mysterious hive mind has more menacing plans for Brain Boy. He’ll have no choice but to go head to head-brain to brain-with the mysterious Men from G.E.S.T.A.L.T.!

So with Brain Boy  it is never a dull moment or even a quiet moment which is great for us but not so great for our very interesting hero. The one nice thing is that STK639162this time it is a little different when it comes to villains. It starts with Brain Boy, getting himself a new mission that seems to be a routine villain versus hero mission. However, quickly we learn that this not a usual enemy but one that may actually be the end of Brain Boy. These mysterious men, from this group are something that is not to be meant to be messed around with. Even in the first issue, they seem to be a group that is going to be trouble for our hero.

The writing for this issue is very good. It flows nicely without back tracking too much. I was worried that this may be the case with the issue but I was proven wrong and I was glad. The one problem that I had with the issue is that I wish it would have revealed a little more. I understand that they can’t and will, probley, later but, in order, to keep my attention, I wish it would have done more.

The art is very good as well. The artist has a way of bringing out the best in Brain Boy and more. I really enjoy looking from panel to panel more because of the art.

Brain Boy: The men from G.E.S.T.A.L.T. is a great start of a new story for Brain Boy.
