Remaining Three Turtles Cast for NINJA TURTLES!

Deadline reported a few days ago that Alan Ritchson had been cast as sai-wielding Raphael in the upcoming Ninja Turtles film. At the time, the other three teenage turtles hadn’t been cast. Well, Deadline is reporting that the remaining siblings have found actors! Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, and Noel Fisher will be portraying Leonardo, Donatello, and Michaelangelo respectively.

Pete Ploszek is an interesting choice, since before now, he has had less than five roles in various TV series. Ninja Turtles will be his first ever film role. Jeremy Howard also has a pretty small resume, never really having any big roles before now. Noel Fisher is the only actor with a more well-known career, portraying Mickey Milkovich in the popular Showtime series Shameless, as well as voicing Toad in X-Men: Evolution.

Still, despite the fact that some of these actors don’t have much experience, I wouldn’t be too worried; remember, they’re only voicing the turtles. Even if their acting isn’t so hot, voice acting is easier.

In other casting news, Deadline reports that Paramount Pictures hopes to cast antagonist Shredder soon. Megan Fox was previously reported to be portraying female reported April O’Neil.

Ninja Turtles is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans, Battle: Los Angeles) and produced by Michael Bay (Transformers). The film will be released on June 6, 2014.

Does this casting fill you with confidence?
