The Coolest Batmobile You’ve Ever Seen

I’m really not a car enthusiast. I couldn’t tell the difference between a Hemi and a Handlebar, but I do love me some good ol’ fashion superhero whips. Spider-Man has his buggey. Captain America has his bike. And Batman will forever rule the asphalt alleys in his Batmobile. Well, I’m delighted to inform you that Batman’s met his mechanical soul mate. His latest ride was revealed in the Batman: Arkham Knight trailer, and it is gorgeous! I can only hope that Ben Affleck’s vehicle in Batman Vs Superman is as badass as this video game iteration.

I’ve taken a whole mess of screenshots from the new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer below, so feel free to browse at your convenience. I wonder, though, if WB had any influence over these designs. We’ve long heard that the Batmobile in Batman vs Superman would mix Nolan’s Tumbler with the traditional winged version of the car. As well, Batman’s suit in the trailer (which I’ve embed at the very bottom) look a good deal like the rumored Affleck ‘armored Batman’ suit we’ve heard about. Did WB’s Batman vs Superman designs influence this in-game iteration of Batman? Could this be the very first glimpse of the designs for that movie?

It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if WB incorporated designs from either medium into a single ‘canon’. But all of this speculation is just… speculation. The baseless fantasy of a fanboy. In any case, you should check out these Batmobile pics. They’re pretty badass.
