Steam Summer Sale Day 9 Buying Guide!

On the behalf of all the team here at UTF I apologize for not covering the Steam Summer Sale. But never mind hey! We’ve still got three days left of this money saving extravaganza! With the event lasting 11 days it is any Video Game Fanboy’s wet dream!

The first game on the list for Day 9 is Sid Meier’s Civilization V. If you haven’t already got this game then you should be ashamed to be calling yourself a Fanboy! Any way, for those of you who haven’t got this game lurking on your computer’s, it’s a game in which you attempt to take over the map using: diplomacy, brute military strength and great leadership, all values which modern politicians don’t have! Any way I would definitely recommend this game to anyone just as a boredom buster, and plus what can go wrong for $7.49. Unless you are REALLY interested in World Domination, it is best to ignore the expansion packs, which come $5-7 per piece.

The second game is a great little indie game that has exploded onto the large game scene (as so many indie games have!) It is Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine. The game is a top down stealth game. It can be both used in Single-Player and Multi-Player. It is on sale for $7.44 which is less than Civ 5. If you want to play with friends then why not buy the four pack for $22.34, but who needs to waste money on friends, they’ll just weigh you down!

Every day of the sale there has been a vote for which game should be on sale the next day, and today is no different! The three games today are:

Sanctum 2: 50% off at $7.50

Chivalry: 75% off at $6.25

Terraria: 75% off at $2.50

Personally I would go for Terraria, great game for such a low price, but all are just as good as the next one!

That’s the two games that I would buy today if I had to buy two, but what two would you buy? Let us know in the comments below.
